#6 Ouch! I burned my finger by just touching that hot pan.

What happened?

Heat was transferred to my finger! We know heat can be transferred by convection, radiation, or conduction.

Radiation: When heat
is transferred by electromagnetic waves (like the Sun)!

Convection: Heat is transferred through the motion of particles – such
as air and water.

Conduction: Heat transferred from one object to another,
through physical contact.

Big Question:

I now have done some first aid and feel better, but I want to know which of the three modes of heat transfer is responsible for my burnt finger.
