Creative writing is an important skill to develop in younger children, especially in today’s world. It is a crucial tool they can use later in life, at the school, university or professional level. Further, children can learn to express their emotions this way- whether they are happy, sad, angry or just plain bored, writing is a way to alleviate these feelings. The best part about writing? All you need is a pen or pencil, paper and your imagination! Nothing develops a child’s mind more than writing down his/her thoughts on subjects, their feelings or their own stories. Who knows- this could be your child’s first step towards becoming a famous writer one day!

Team Explore introduces you to its Young Authors Competition section. Here, we hold writing contests for young kids, under the age of 14, to let them get in touch with their inner Shakespeare!  We welcome children to take part in writing essays and poems on a given topic we put up on our website.  Even better, one kid has the chance to win a prize for their written piece.
